Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets |
|
In professor Dumbledore's laboratory you can see a lot of different astronomical instruments. The most of them are armillary spheres. On this picture the most visible is the armillary sphere in the right bottom corner and in front of Harry. Please pay your attention to the astrolabe, hanging on the shelf, next to the books. |
|
On this picture you can see the second astrolabe in Dumbledore's room. Like the previous one this one is hung on the shelf, between books. Below the astrolabe there is something what I think is the part (matter) of another astrolabe.

Professor Dumbledore is the owner of a very nice celestial globe.

Just beside the entrance to Dumbledore's office, on a table you can see at least a few different astronomical instruments. There are armillary spheres and quite an interesting type of sundial. On the second picture you see the same table, but viewed from the other side. Pay attention to the showcase in the background - the next place full of astronomical instruments.

In the mentioned showcase you can see for sure an armillary sphere - in the left corner of the picture. On the top shelf you can also find a ring dial. On the bottom picture you will find more armillary spheres, globes and telescopes.
