Brass compass with Cardan suspension

In reality the compass looks even more beautiful than in the picture. The first one really impressed me and my collegues at work, so I have bought another one for my husband. The compass embodies a few features that were important to me. It is incredibly handsome, imaginative and precise. It is quite heavy and solid. It looks elegant and holds alot of character. I have oredered a brass plate which I had engraved to accompany it. I think it is a worthwhile gift and wonderful personal possession to have.

Perpetual calendar

My husband ordered the Perpetual Calendar for my birthday. Unlike other perpetual calendars on the market, this one offers a broad range of dates - from the year 1600 to 2799. (Several others on the market only offer a 50 year window.) In addition to its functionality, it looks beautiful on my desk - truly an elegant piece. The service and follow up from
pocketsundials.com was excellent. I highly recommend both the item and the web site.

Shepherd dial (brass)

This is a good solid piece of work. The only thing I would have liked better was a more elegant box. I also feel that the manual could have some more information. Great service from this shop!

Brass Astrolabe 20 cm

I wanted to buy something unique and interesting for my grandfather's 85th birthday. I chose the astrolabe. He really loves this instrument and now is passing his afternoons learning how to use it and having a great time! He was very impressed with the quality and of it. Also he is impressed with it's precision and accuracy. Thanks!

Analemmatic sundial

Very elegant sundial. The one problem is the box - it's not very nice. If you want it as a gift for somebody you'll have to buy a new, nice box. No problems with my order. I received my package after 10 days. Not so bad :)
